Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, Jack had the potential to be a slick action drama. But what audiences got was a routine and outdated spy story with flat execution.
Siddhu’s performance felt repetitive, the plot lacked any real suspense, and the film failed to generate even the slightest buzz during its theatrical run.

OTT might offer breathing room for some underperforming films, but in this case, Jack already looks like a gone case.
And OTT audiences are not known for being forgiving. They call out weak writing, lazy direction, and bland performances even more sharply than theatrical viewers.
It’s streaming on a global platform like Netflix, not a local OTT service like Zee5 or aha. There’s a real possibility that the film will be trolled not just by Indian viewers, but by global audiences as well, thanks to Netflix’s wide reach.
