
Sreeleela started her career with a bang with Dhamaka. Later she got big projects like Guntur Kaaram opposite Mahesh Babu, but her films failed to make a significant impact.
Most of her other projects also flopped, and except for a few upcoming films, her career in Telugu seems to be nearing its end unless she takes on at least a couple of performance-oriented roles that audiences will remember her for.

Now, she’s making her debut in Tamil with Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi, Atharvaa, and others. The film looks promising by the announcement video, and Sree Leela’s role seems to be drawn straight from a classic period drama.
This is a crucial project for her, especially as she’s going through a slump in her career. If Parasakthi succeeds, it could potentially open up a new market for her in Tamil Nadu.

However, Tamil audiences have traditionally been reluctant to fully embrace Telugu heroines as stars. They never patronize them in a big way. While they might accept them in a few films, it’s rare for them to elevate Telugu actresses to the level of star heroines.
