Srimanthudu has performed excellently at the box office on second day. After a sensational opening where it toppled the second best by very good margin it is now aiming for big records of life time.
First of all by the time the weekend would be over, Srimanthudu would be pretty close to the first week number of Atharintiki Daredi (47.5 Cr) with approximately 43 Cr expected. Which means when the first week of the Koratala Siva directed film comes to an end, it would have zoomed past Attarintiki Daredi’s first week by very good margin taking it almost close to the top 5, if not into the top 5.
With big Holiday like Independence Day ahead, Srimanthdu from the end of first week would be targeting the life time of Attarintiki Daredi. All it needs is just a decent follow up for its opening week and it could achieve it. A clear picture would be emerging based on the trend from tomorrow though.
While it looks most likely to achieve that based on the past trending of Superstar Mahesh Babu, nothing is a certainty in today’s time. What is now almost confirmed is that Srimanthudu is going to be a certified blockbuster at the end of its second weekend. It means Superstar arriving with a bang after twin failures.
