Any actress delivering two all-time blockbusters at the pan-India level would usually be flooded with offers. But strangely, that’s not the case with Srinidhi Shetty — the heroine of the KGF franchise.
Despite starring in back-to-back industry hits in Kannada, her career hasn’t taken off the way one would expect, not even in the Kannada industry.

KGF in 2018 was a 250-crore worldwide grosser, and KGF 2 shattered records with 1200 crores. For any debut actress, this should’ve been a golden ticket to the top. But Srinidhi failed to capitalize on the momentum.
After KGF, she appeared in Vikram’s Cobra, which was a forgettable outing. Since then, no big projects or notable roles have come her way.

Next, she’s starring in Hit 3 with Nani, the third part of the psycho-killer vs cop franchise. The previous heroines — Ruhani Sharma and Meenakshi Chaudhary — didn’t get any impactful scenes or screen time. Both the HIT films did nothing to elevate their careers.
If Hit 3 repeats the same pattern and gives Srinidhi another flowerpot role of being just the love interest of Nani, even a box office success won’t help her career.

Post Hit 3, she only has Telusu Kada lined up. And honestly — outside the Tillu franchise, Siddhu Jonnalagadda hasn’t proved himself to be a crowd-puller.
His recent film Jack was a washout. So, unless Telusu Kada is a phenomenal film, it may not do much for Srinidhi either.
Srinidhi Shetty absolutely deserves a career revival. Let’s hope HIT 3 turns out to be that film.
