Superstar Mahesh Babu and global director SS Rajamouli are teaming up for a new movie, produced by Durga Arts. It’s tentatively named #SSMB29 and is in the planning stage.
One of the producers, S. Gopal Reddy, shared an update in an interview recently. He said the script is almost ready, and they might start filming in May next year.
People online thought filming would start in May 2025, which disappointed fans because it seemed far away. But it turns out that Gopal Reddy’s interview was from December 2023, so when he said “next year,” he meant May 2024, not 2025.
Mahesh’s fans are happy about this news, but we’re still waiting for an official announcement about the movie.
Mahesh is already getting ready for the role and is working on his physical appearance.
SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are scheduled to meet next week to talk about the movie. They’ll cover pre-production progress, team additions, technical details, casting, and other important stuff about the project.
The movie is said to be a globe-trotting action adventure to be made on a massive International scale, with music by MM Keeravani.
