In a good news for Bollywood, top actress Rani Mukharjee gave birth to a baby girl on December 9 at a hospital in Mumbai. This news came when Rani’s brother in law announced it on social networking site and the baby appears to be healthy and feisty.

Keeping with their traditions and culture Rani and husband Aditya Chopra are planning a ‘Mahapooja’ for the little baby which will held on the 6th day of the birth of the baby. The baby is to be named Adira after both Rani and Aditya. Meanwhile, two bungalows are under construction in the posh locality of Juhu which will likely be the residence of Rani, Aditya and baby Adira.
Meanwhile, Rani extended her thanks to all her fans and well wishers for their support and blessings on this special day of her life. She said that she and her family are joyfully beginning this new chapter in their lives.
