This movie is directed by one film old Anu Menon, who made her debut into Bollywood in 2012 with a romantic comedy entertainer ‘London Paris New York’. This is her second directorial venture in Bollywood. But she has done many short films before her entry into film industry. Anu Menon had to take the help of Mani Ratnam to make Suhasini work in a Hindi movie.
Suhasini can’t speak Hindi and this would be her first film in which we will be seeing the veteran actress speaking Hindi mixed with English. During her hay days in the film industry as heroine, Suhasini was respected as an actress more than a glam doll.
