Tamil superstar Vijay’s Leo is releasing in a couple of days from now and the advance bookings are pretty positive for this actioner which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The latest news is that the makers of Leo have approached the Madras High Court against the Tamil Nadu government.
Earlier, the government had denied permission for special shows for the film. This anguished the producers, who were hopeful of orchestrating additional shows in Tamil Nadu to match the demand.
But after the TN government refused the permission, the producers of Leo approached the Madras High Court. They have applied for permission to orchestrate special additional shows across the state.
With the film releasing on 19 October, this is a time sensitive case and we have to see how the high court will react. The case will come to hearing tomorrow.
In AP, filmmakers have to wait and plead with the government for permissions for special shows. But in TN, the makers of superstar Vijay’s film have approached the court. Will this set a new precedent in AP as well? We shall see.
