Suriya demanded money for religious event?

There had been a report in a Malaysian paper that Tamil star hero demanded money to attend a religious event. The actor out-rightly denied the report on him as false and made it clear that he wouldn’t attend any such biased functions.

It’s reportedly a caste based/religious based function and hence Suriya is one actor who doesn’t entertain himself to be part of such events and hurt the sentiments of his numerous fans. Demanding money for such events was out of question.

This report came only in the above mentioned Malaysian daily and Suriya was quick to react before the false news was everywhere. Currently, he is basking in the success of ’24’ and also busily involved in the third instalment of ‘Singham’ franchise movie ‘S-3’.
