Producer Rahul Yadav Nakka, of Swadharm Entertainments, the man behind content-driven cult blockbusters like Masooda, Malli Raava and Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, has officially announced his next venture, Not A Doctor. The film features Naveen Chandra in the lead role and is directed by Srikanth Nagothi. The actor-director duo previously delivered acclaimed films like Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna and Month of Madhu.
The film’s first-look poster is already creating a stir. The visual is haunting, showing a massive, soil-stained hand emerging from a forest floor, surrounded by moss and dark foliage. It suggests a story deeply rooted in mystery and perhaps a raw connection to nature. Adding to the intrigue is the tagline: “Based on a novel that was never written,” which hints at an unconventional and layered narrative.
With Swadharm Entertainment’s reputation for backing path-breaking cinema and Nagothi’s knack for nuanced storytelling, expectations are high.
