Puducherry police have decided to question actresses Tamannaah and Kajal Aggarwal regarding a cryptocurrency scam. A retired government employee, Ashokan, filed a complaint, stating that fraudsters lured ten people with promises of high returns and cheated them out of ₹2.40 crore.

The cryptocurrency company was established in 2022, with its headquarters in Coimbatore. Tamannaah attended the launch event alongside other celebrities. Later, Kajal Aggarwal was present at a company gathering in a star hotel in Mahabalipuram. The company even hosted a party in Mumbai, where they collected money from thousands of investors.
As the investigation deepens, police have arrested two individuals—Nitish Jain (36) and Aravind Kumar (40). Now, the authorities plan to question Tamannaah and Kajal Aggarwal to uncover more details.
