The Telugu film industry is one of the most robust film entities in India. The volume of the films that are made in Telugu and also the financial resources associated with the same are beyond measure.
However, the ongoing summer season appears to be putting an indefinite speed bump to the flow of the industry.
There is an insider that the Telugu film industry is preparing for an unofficial pause due to the extreme heat. This does not apply to all films, but to select superstar films and moreover, this is just a rumor in circulation.
Since the last couple of days, the kind of heat that is being witnessed in Hyderabad is extremely high. The afternoon and evening sessions are turning out to be extremely hot and unbearable to say the least.
This has related to a few speculation about certain superstars who are currently shooting sceptical about the ongoing schedules.
Generally, there is a saying in the industry that Telugu superstar prefer comfort in the summer season and won’t think twice while monetarily halting shoots. They prefer to travel abroad to beat the summer heat for a few weeks before returning to the city and resuming the operations.
Notably, the likes of Charan, NTR, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Allu Arjun and others had been shooting of late. It was reported last week that Prabhas had flown off on a vacation to Italy. A few other others might follow this suit shortly.
While a few people might have concerns about the pause in shooting, but it can’t entirely be ridiculed either. Most of these stars shoot all year long without too many breaks and face physical distress. So it is well within their right to take a few days off to beat the heat. Of course, only if the producer investing money can afford these pauses as well.
