It seems, going by the trend, BRO joins another example of failed remakes. Today (Monday) is extremely crucial for the film to show some hold; otherwise, its fate is pretty much sealed.
While many production houses are shivering over remakes, there is one last star hero remake set to release in August.
Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar” an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam, will be the final one, as no star or even medium-range hero will dare to sit in a remake script discussions thereafter.
In a way, Bhola Shankar will mark the end of remakes in Tollywood unless Pawan Kalyan decides to bring one.
There are still hopes for Chiranjeevi’s crowd-pulling stamina and holiday advantage to make Bhola Shankar commercially successful at the box office, even though these types of films may not receive critical appreciation.
