The Telugu OTT space is set to welcome two new outings this week and they are Akhil Akkineni’s Agent and Naresh, Pavitra’s Malli Pelli.
Agent will stream on Sony Liv from the 23rd of this month. It is a big budget actioner. While it was a huge disaster in theaters, it has to be seen how it will fare on OTT. Will the grandeur pull the Telugu OTT folk?

Malli Pelli too had a negligible run in theater. However, given the fact that it based on the story of Naresh and Pavitra, a much talked about couple, there could be some interest from the Telugu OTT audience.
Naresh and Pavitra are a popular couple on social media and that might rub into its OTT prospects. It will stream on Aha Video from the 23rd of this month.

Then there’s the highly controversial Kerala Story which will also be streaming in Telugu. Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan is also set to stream from 23rd on ZEE5. There’s John Wick 4 (Lionsgate play from 23 June) as well.
It needs to be said that there are a fair few options for the OTT folk this weekend.
