Thalapathy Vijay celebrated his 49th birthday recently. His birthday hashtag trended continuously on social media, with fans celebrating in huge numbers on and offline.
When they were doing films with Vijay (Beast and Varisu), Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna always claimed to be huge fans of Vijay and always said they were in awe of Vijay and his aura. They wished him on his birthday with long posts and shared the posters of their forthcoming films.
But this year, both Pooja and Rashmika have gone missing. Especially Rashmika, who claimed she felt the luckiest when she was cast as a heroine opposite Vijay in Varisu. She has neither posted any birthday wishes to Vijay nor shared the poster of his upcoming film Leo.
Pooja, on the other hand, shared a small video of Vijay and herself dancing to the Butta Bomma song but that too a day later. But she also didn’t post any birthday wishes or wished him luck for his forthcoming film Leo.
Fans are bashing them that Pooja and Rashmika used Vijay’s name to get more attention, followers, likes, and shares on social media. They both are opportunists who stayed with Vijay as long as they were getting benefits and deserted him once they got their job done.
But fans must realize that is how things work in the film industry.
