A few days of absence from the scenario is enough for the gossip mongers to spread baseless rumours in the film industry. Cinematographer turned director Velraj got fixed in one such situation that he couldn’t be present while canning action sequences for Dhanush’s next untitled movie.

This happened because he was shooting simultaneously for Vishal’s ‘Paayum Puli’ for which he is the cinematographer. A few days of absence became unavoidable and hence his team canned the fight scenes for which he wasn’t required anyway says Velraj.
He gives clarity that few days of absence doesn’t mean he is out of the film. He is very much the director Dhanush and Samantna starrer. Though basically he is a cinematographer, he isn’t the cinematographer for Dhanush’s film but the director.
