The Paradise New Date Locked? Right Call or Red Flag?

Nani in The Paradise release update

Nani and director Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise remains one of the most anticipated Telugu films currently in production. However, the project’s release journey has not been smooth.

Initially, the makers were reportedly considering a March release before shifting their focus to August 21. Now, according to the latest industry buzz, The Paradise is being planned for a September 25, 2026, release, with an official announcement expected soon.

The postponements have naturally led to questions about the film’s progress.

Reports suggest that a significant portion of the shoot is still pending, and the team is currently working at full speed to complete production. In fact, industry circles indicate that the film has already exceeded its initial budget estimates.

But interestingly, there appears to be very little panic within the camp.

Sources suggest that both the producers and director Srikanth Odela are extremely confident about the film’s content and overall quality. Despite the increasing budget and shifting release plans, the team reportedly believes they are working on a product capable of appealing to audiences on a much larger scale than Dasara.

Unlike many delayed projects that gradually lose momentum, The Paradise continues to generate excitement with every update. The world of The Paradise still feels fresh, mysterious, and unexplored. Adding to the hype is the chartbuster song “Aaya Sher.”

As a result, many trade observers believe that whenever The Paradise eventually releases, audiences are likely to turn up in big numbers. The combination of Nani’s growing market, Srikanth Odela’s goodwill after Dasara, the strong promotional material, and the popularity of Aaya Sher almost guarantees a solid opening.

What happens after that, however, will depend entirely on the content.

The film is being mounted on a massive scale under the SLV Cinemas banner and is being designed as a pan-India project. The cast includes Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Babu Mohan, Sampoornesh Babu, and Tanikella Bharani in important roles, while Anirudh is composing the music.

For Nani, The Paradise could become one of the biggest films of his career if it lives up to expectations.

Now, the challenge is ensuring that the final film justifies all that anticipation.
