Faisal Saif, the director who dreamt of bringing the life history of Jayalalithaa on the silver screen has been terribly threatened by the politicians not to do the biopic that depicts Jayalalitha’s life. The director revealed that he has put the shoot on hold and may never get on to sets again.

As reported by the director, he has been receiving intimidating calls from several political personnel not to continue with the movie, as they feel that he is trying to target Jaya. Faisal expressed his helplessness saying that he hasn’t been getting any directions from the producers on whether to take the movie ahead, as they might also have been receiving the threatening calls.
Now according to Faisal, the movie might not come on to the sets again. This isn’t the first time where the movie makers get terrorized on continuing the movie. And yet, many succeeded in getting the movie on the screen. But this movie doesn’t seem to survive the political pressures.
