Tillu Square and Family Star are two of the very few noted films that are releasing this summer season. Tillu Square, a comedy caper hit the theaters today while Family Star is headed for release next weekend.
Essentially speaking, Tillu Square and Family Star are the only noted options for Telugu audiences this summer. There are no other alternatives till Vishwak’s Gangs Of Godavari which is releasing in the latter part of May.
Tillu Square is the only true blue comedy caper of note for the Telugu audience. Fittingly, it has opened to encouraging news and the box office reception from the early shows are also looking good.
Then there is Family Star which is the only mass actioner releasing this summer. The Vijay Deverakonda starrer appears to be a packaged actioner with mass moments, as shown in the trailer.
Both Tillu and Family Star are the only two noted films that can pull the audience to theaters in notable numbers this summer season.
The lack of effective options in the future, and the existing vacuum have already helped Tillu Square open well domestically and in the USA. The numbers could get upscaled further in the case of Family Star which has Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role and is directed by Parasuram.
