The Tollywood box office witnessed two new films this weekend, and they are Jack and Good Bad Ugly. There was this one other Jaat produced by Mythri and directed by Gopichand Malineni but it released in Hindi and not in Telugu.
Coming to the opening day box office numbers of Jack and Good Bad Ugly, here’s a look into the story.

Jack could not pull the audience to theatres in substantial numbers, despite Siddhu having earlier delivered the biggest blockbuster in his career Tillu Square.
They opening their revenues of Jack or not even remotely close to the numbers that were put up by Tillu Square. This film is turning out to be a non-starter at the box office.

The responsibility is firmly on Sidhu to prove himself outside the world of Tillu. He certainly is a talented and gifted actor with peculiar presence on screen. Working out his strengths and doing the right kind of films could greatly help him.
Then we have Tamil star, Ajith Kumar with Good Bad Ugly. This film opened on a super note in the Tamil Nadu market, which is understandable, considering the Ajith wave and mass reach of this film.

It is reported that this Ajith film opened on the best possible note for any Tamil film in recent years, despite the weak form of the star hero.
The openings in Telugu states are expectedly low, but certain theatres managed to pull at least mention worthy crowds across the Telugu states.
Then we have the Hindi film Jaat which has Telugu producer and director. This film also reportedly opened on a reasonably good note at the Hindi box office, despite the low momentum. It could reportedly pull the message to theatres and open in the range of 10 crore which is due to the Sunny Dheol.
