Pushpa 2 has become a huge success at the box office but it seems it has fallen out of grace for many critics and fellow filmmakers as well.
Rajkumar Hirani praised Pushpa: The Rise a lot when it was released in 2021. But he has not given any word of admiration for the second installment of the movie.

Sukumar could not carry on with Pushpa 2 what he started with Pushpa: The Rise. The storytelling was fascinating but the makers compromised a lot with the sequel for the sake of Allu Arjun’s elevation. Fahadh Faasil was not utilised properly and a good actor was totally wasted.
Rajkumar Hirani had congratulated Sukumar and Allu Arjun for Pushpa 1 in 2021. He is considered to be the best commercial filmmaker in India after Rajamouli and has a grand track record as well. A word of approval from him means a lot for other filmmakers.

But Hirani’s silence on Pushpa 2 might be a sign that he did not like the movie at all. Also, Hirani’s last movie ‘Dunki’ was not a good success at the box office too. And there are chances that he is not in the mood for praising others’ works in the moment because of his own failure with Dunki too.
