With multiple big films tanking at the box office this year in Telugu, its effect had to felt by tops stars sooner or later. Top star Jr NTR and director Puri Jagannadh seems to be the immediate casualties of this though. The two are reportedly not being given remuneration for their upcoming film together, Temper.
Of course, they aren’t doing it for free. A special agreement has been made for the actor and director by producer Bandla Ganesh. He has given them the rights of Nizam and Ceded as remuneration instead. Now it’s up to the actor-director duo to get the money by doing as they wish to, from these rights. They could sell it to distributors and get their payment for the film.
Is it a smart decision by Bandla Ganesh or he has been forced to take this decision, is for the people to decide. All his films barring Gabbar Singh have been loss making propositions for him and have put him in red with distributors. No wonder he had to resort to these tricks.
