Finally, after multiple postponements, Yash’s most anticipated pan Indian film Toxic directed by Geetu Mohandas is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26th. Recently, the makers of Toxic officially confirmed this with a special poster.
Toxic was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19th, but due to the ongoing war in the Middle East at that time, the makers postponed it and announced that it would be released on June 4th.
Unfortunately, it was not released on June 4th either and reports suggest that because of the unresolved digital rights, the makers postponed the release once again. At the same time, there was no official clarification regarding the postponement. Consequently, following the second postponement, fans of Yash became frustrated and started thrashing KVN Productions on social media.
Since the beginning of this year, KVN Productions has been facing huge setbacks regarding its pan-Indian projects lined up for theatrical release, as Yash’s Toxic has been delayed several times, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s final film Jana Nayagan was postponed from its original release date of January 9th due to a delay in the censorship certificate and KD: The Devil, which faced multiple release delays, ended up as a terrible disaster in theaters following its release this April.
However, following the Toxic release update, all eyes are now on Jana Nayagan’s updated release date. Many Kollywood fans on social media are responding that it seems like KVN Productions is finally back on track and clearing release issues one by one. They also hope that the release issues regarding Jana Nayagan will soon be cleared.
Ultimately, after Toxic’s release date announcement, fans are eagerly expecting Jana Nayagan’s updated release date from the production house. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether KVN Productions will sort out the release issues for Jana Nayagan soon and whether Toxic will be released as planned atleast this time in the future.
