Tungabadhra: How the title is misleading!

thungabadhra movie stillProducer Sai Korrapati is presently on success spree and this helped a lot for the positive buzz on his upcoming production venture ‘Tungabhadra’. Inspite of the positive feedback on the film content’s by virtue of the promotional material released, few things are misleading and giving a different idea on the film.

The foremost one is the title. ‘Tungabhadra’ seems to be something set in the backdrop of Rayalseema factionism and the conflicts between groups. But in reality, the film’s concept is set in the back drop of two villages in Krishna district, the birth places of Tunga and Bhadra, the two rivers which unite to form ‘Tungabhadra’.

The second thing which is misleading regarding the film is it’s star cast. Satya Raj, Adith and Dimple Chopda. The male leads are superficially giving the flavour of a Tamil Cinema while the film is extensively shot in the natural locales of Andhra. With Srinivas as debutante director and Sai Korrapati’s selection of stories based on concept, one can be rest assured that the content rules and hopefully ‘Tungabhadra’ continues the producer’s success spree.
