Nannaku Prematho as reported previously is marching towards 2 Million (at $1.7 M now) which will make it the third biggest grosser of all time. Soggade Chinni Nayana which is having a dream run locally is also showing good pull in US as well. It has collected $ 606K which makes it a winner already. Not to be left behind Express Raja at $ 286K is also a break even venture for the distributors. Only one film Dictator is left behind with $ 96K.
But more than the fact that three out of four have turned profitable ventures, the important aspect to be looked into is that the cumulative number for the first week US collections is going to be 2.7 Million. It also means a closing cumulative of nearly 3.8 Million. This suggests a massive growth of US market. Let’s see which star exploits this to the fullest with a solo release.
