More and more Bollywood personalities are talking of collaborations with their southern counterparts and the latest one to make a comment is Varun Dhawan. Following the lukewarm response to Jug Jug Jeeyo, Varun is now readying for the release of the creature horror comedy, Bhediya.
Speaking during the promotions, Varun said that blockbusters like KGF, Vikram, and Kantara have shown the path for Bollywood actors and technicians.
At this point in time, there is no doubt that the southern cinema is ruling the roost and the Bollywood biggies are fizzling out at the box office. He also accepted South films’ supremacy in Indian cinema these days.
About himself, Varun said, he would love to work with the team of Vikram, KGF2, or Kantara, so that Indian cinema wins at the end of the day. He commented that the Bollywood films were getting their ass kicked at BO and it is high time, the actors and technicians worked together to make good, saleable, and meaningful cinema.
