Remakes are a part and parcel of Tollywood. Every two or three out of ten films are remakes and many filmmakers and stars consider it to be a safe bet always.

And among them, Venkatesh is one star who has done so many remakes in his career. His new film Guru is also a remake and now he has set his eyes on yet another remake.
The news is that Venkatesh has enquired about the remake rights of the latest Malayalam hit Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol which stars Mohanlal in a lead role.
Sources suggest that Venky was very keen to buy the rights but was denied permission as the makers were quite busy and wanted to see how the just released film performs in the near future.
Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol has opened to rave reviews and deals about the story of a middle-aged man played by Mohanlal who kindles his romance 20 years after his marriage.
