Pawan Kalyan is the latest Telugu film star to have acclaimed humongous political success in Andhra Pradesh and this happened after a decade’s struggle. He is currently serving as the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
This was closely followed by another piece of tremendous success regarding another South Indian star, and this time it was Thalapathy Vijay in Tamil Nadu. In fact, he became the chief minister of the state in his first attempt, which is surprising on many fronts.
After Vijay became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, there has been a major discourse with regard to the film industry and also the thinking pattern of the common public.
Barely a couple of months since Vijay became the CM, we are sharing multiple theories and narratives regarding Telugu heroes and their political aspirations.
Last week, it was the case of Allu Arjun contemplating a political movement and setting the stage for it. It was reported that bunny is preparing the ground for his political debut, which could be happening sooner than expected. Then we have the case of usual suspect NTR, as he is also finding himself in media reports about possible political debut.
The theory is about NTR and his political debut have always been around despite his repeated clarifications. Now we are hearing Allu Arjun’s case which is a bit interesting to hear.
This might all just be a ripple effect of the recent triumph of Thalapathy Vijay in Tamil Nadu. We don’t know if our Telugu heroes are actually taking inspiration from this or whether this is all just a media theory to milk views on social media. But what is for certain is that the Vijay effect is evident in South Indian cinema and political scene.
