Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi visited Venkatapuram village in Anantapur and paid homage to Late Paritala Ravi on his Vardhanthi today. Paritala family accompanied him to the ghat.

Vivek Oberoi played the role of Paritala in Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra and since then became a member of Ravi’s family. He visits Ravi’s village on this day every year.
Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Oberoi said, “Please treat me as the son of this district. Paritala dreamt of this district’s development”. In order to help to realize Paritala’s dream, the Bollywood actor announced that he will adopt Muttiahkuntla village of the district and work for its all round development.
