Salman Khan’s last week release Tiger 3 is facing rejection at the box office for its poor story, weak direction, and implausible plotline of the hero saving Pakistan’s PM.
The film’s writers Aditya Chopra and Shridhar Raghavan including director Maneesh Sharma are facing the wrath of the audience on social media for coming out with such a sham.
Tiger 3 was part of the much-hyped Spy Universe and the next film in this series is going to be WAR 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR and directed by Ayan Mukerji. A section of the audience is already skeptical about how the film will turn out. They don’t want another Pakistan-loving film in the name of Spy Universe.
Salman Khan fans are blaming Yash Raj Films for offering Tiger 3 to a director like Maneesh Sharma who has made only one decent film, Band Baaja Baaraat. His last film, Fan, starring Shah Rukh Khan proved to be a flop. Despite his towering performance, the film failed as Maneesh couldn’t handle a star like SRK. The same happened with Tiger 3.
Now Ayan Mukerji has been trusted to direct WAR 2. In the past Ayan has directed some romantic comedies like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaan Hai Deewani. His last film was Brahmastra where he proved his potential as a director to some extent but overall fell short of the huge expectations. Now he is getting another chance to direct a huge film like WAR 2.
Let’s hope Ayan learns from not only his past mistakes but also from the blunders committed in Tiger 3 and comes up with a mindblowing film with WAR 2.
