‘Srimanthudu’ is in a way a multi-starrer with big ensemble of enviable star cast. it’s packed with terrific performers like Mahesh Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu and many others. Even Shruti Haasan delivered her best till date in this film. How did Koratala Siva actually handle these stalwarts?
One might think that extracting performances and asking for improvement wasn’t easy for Siva. But Rajendra Prasad clearly explains how Siva used to suggest improvements. In one sentimental scene Rajendra Prasad was happy for his performance and feeling proud, he asked Siva if it was okay.
Koratala Siva said that it was a nice performance but he saw Rajendra Prasad in the scene and not Devarakota Narayana, his character in the film. RP understood the underlying meaning and took two more shots to get into the skin of the character to see that one sees his character and not Rajendra Prasad.
