The sudden surprise in the form.of switching release dates between Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala‘ and ‘2.0’ is creating big confusion among the trade circles. In Tamil Nadu, the scenario is different unlike the tricky situation in Telugu States.

Owing to the extended weekend that will come as an added boon when ‘Kaala’ releases on 27th April, the movie is expected to do wonders at the box-office. It is sure to set the box-office on fire in Tamil Nadu after the much awaited Rajinikanth’s political announcement and the five-day extended weekend up to May Day.
However in Telugu, one of the biggies aka Mahesh Babu’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ or Allu Arjun’s ‘Naa Peru Surya’ might back out from the competition. Unlike in Tamil, it’s the content that is going to be deciding for ‘Kaala’ and it might not get as many theatres as a straight Telugu biggie.
Even with poor content, Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ did wonders at the box-office in Tamil. If the director, Pa Ranjith really delivers, this time it would be no less than fireworks in Tamil. It’s going to be a solo release in Tamil. In Telugu, let’s wait and see which movie stays put and which one backs out.
