Hansika is one of the additions to Suriya’s “Singam 2”, scheduled to release soon. She has joined an ensemble cast of 30 artists in the film, which is the sequel to “Singam”. Even though this is her first film with Suriya, yet she is considered special because the young actress was supposed to make her Tamil debut with him many years ago.

Suriya said on Sunday at the audio launch of “Singam 2” that he was excited to work with Hansika. He took special care of her on sets because he felt bad that he couldn’t work with her many years ago as he was busy.
Hansika plays a school girl in the film, and apparently in her first shot, Suriya was supposed to carry her and run.
