South Indians should be proud of having S.P Balasubrahmanyam as our own. Known for singing in 16 languages and over 47,000 songs, S.P.B is just not a singer but he is someone who pushes himself to the edge to keep the culture of music alive.

Even at the age of 60 plus, he is always seen actively involved in the betterment of music industry. As a host of a famous television program on a private channel, he shares so much of information that you can’t even find in books or online. How many actors or singers even attempt to do anything close to that?
Telugu filmmaker Janardhan Maharishi recently said that SPB is the only singer who can pronounce every word to perfection in any language he sings. And I think he is hundred percent right. He strives to take effort and sing in every language.

SPB has also introduced so many singers to the industry. Most of the current singers in Telugu industry such as Malavika, Karunya, Gopika Poornima, Pranvi, Geetha Madhuri, Sri Krishna and many more are singers who were introduced by him through a music show.
