The wedding celebrations of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna became one of the most talked about celebrity events of the year. Many well-known personalities from the film industry attended the grand ceremony and reception, making it a star studded gathering. However, despite the huge turnout, the event also saw a long list of notable absentees, which sparked discussion among fans online.
Among the prominent names who did not attend the wedding were Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and Jr NTR due to prior commitments. Mahesh’s wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara attended the reception and congratulated the couple on his behalf.
Interestingly, Prabhas was also unable to attend the celebration despite Vijay Deverakonda having a cameo appearance in his film Kalki 2898 AD. NTR, who gave voiceover to Vijay’s Kingdom, was another big name missing from the event.
Among the other absentees were Balakrishna, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Ram Pothineni, Vishwak Sen, Varun Tej, Sai Tej, Nithiin, and Kiran Abbavaram.
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was a noticeable absentee. Samantha has previously worked with Vijay Deverakonda, and many expected her to be present at the celebration. Sobhita Dhulipala, the wife of Naga Chaitanya, was also missing from the reception. While she has not acted with Vijay before, many expected her to accompany her husband to the celebration.
Fans also noticed that some of Rashmika’s Bollywood co-stars, such as Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Sidharth Malhotra, were not present at the event. Their absence surprised many, especially since reports suggest they were not actively shooting during that period as Battle of Galwan is in post-production stage and Love & War shoot has taken a temporary break.
