When a star heroine gets a lead role in one of the leading star hero’s film, she is expected to bag the role as soon as it comes her way. But Shruti Haasan chose otherwise. She was offered to play heroine for Bollywood hero Ajay Devgan’s upcoming film ‘Badshaho’. Excited to work with the star hero, Shruti readily agreed after hearing to the narration on her role.

But when the time came for looking into the final script of the film, Shruti chose to walk away from the film because she thought that her role isn’t as exciting as she had felt during the narration by director Milan Luthria. It wasn’t something specially made for her.
After working in films in which she has meaty roles and have helped her career a lot in terms of performance and glamour, Shruti seems to have grown a bit choosy, not falling for just the director and the hero but giving importance to her role and how far it adds value to the story of the film. Very good indeed!
