Anushka Shetty enthralled the audience in Arundhati with her stellar performance. A similar kind of film came up – Panchakshari (2010) directed by V. Samudra. The film however tanked at the box office and didn’t yield results as the team expected.
Now, the filmmaker has readied Panchakshari 2. Yes, you have read it right. The director is keen to make Panchakshari 2 and has prepared the script. He is now only waiting to approach Anushka for narration. But it is to be seen if Sweety will give him a second chance?
After the failure of a film, actors steer away from the sequel and think twice. Anushka has also become choosy of late as she is only going for roles that give her scope to perform and have a unique premise. So if Panchakshari 2 happens or not is awaited.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker has spilled beans on the reasons behind the failure of Panchakshari. He believed in the concept which was as impactful as Arundhati. They even shot some kick-ass action scenes but due to budget constraints and going for artsites who are not popular was among the reasons for the debacle, rues the director.
