Copy right issues and plagiarism charges aren’t new in the film industry. Time to time, we are witnessing incidents where some writers are coming up with allegations that the filmmakers have copied their content without consent from the original writer.

We know about the issue regarding the story of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’. A novelist by name Naveen Chandra has filed a complaint on the director, hero and the producer for allegedly copying his concept of adopting villages. The latest development is that the court has accepted the complaint and issued orders for the same.
So, Mahesh Babu, director Koratala Siva and the producer of the movie were issued summons to be present before the court on 3rd of next month, i.e., March. The writer claims that his novel ‘ ‘Chachentha Prema’ has this concept which was lifted by the Mythri Movie Makers for ‘Srimanthudu’.
