In response to the Gadar director’s tweet, Allu Arjun graciously replied, expressing his gratitude for the heartfelt wishes and expressing his hopes to meet expectations.
Gadar stands as one of Indian cinema’s monumental hits. It was the Baahubali 2 of the 2000s, amassing over 5 crore footfalls. Its sequel, Gadar 2, released last year, also achieved blockbuster status, crossing the 500 crore mark, trailing only behind Pathaan and Jawan in terms of revenue.
While Gadar 2 faced flak from reviewers, its nostalgic appeal and recall factor drew massive audiences to theaters.
The similarities between Gadar 2 and Pushpa 2 are striking. Both are sequels, following the unprecedented and unexpected success of their first parts and also share the same release date of August 15.
