Earlier there had been reports that Shruti Haasan was approached for Mani Ratnam’s movie, but the light-eyed beauty politely refused the offer quoting date issues. That wasn’t the first time Shruti cited date issues when she got good offers from big production houses.

She even walked out of Karthi-Nagarjuna bilingual multi-starrer which created big controversy when the producer knocked the court’s door. It is learnt, Shruti got one more offer to star alongside Karthi in ace film maker Mani Ratnam’s next movie. According to the buzz, the concerned production house is in talks with the actress.
Nothing is confirmed yet because Mani Ratnam is out of station, Shruti’s official spokesperson isn’t ready to comment as he thinks it is too early to decide on the dates of the actress who is very busy shooting for multiple projects in three different film industries. We have to wait for some more days for clarity.
