There is no debating the fact that Allu Arjun and Sukumar cooked an absolute monster in the form of Pushpa. The kind of wide reach and mass penetration that this film got is quite literally unprecedented.
In fact, even at the champions trophy that got concluded a couple of days ago, team, India player, Ravindra Jadeja did the famous Pushpa celebration after hitting the winning shot.
Later, when Jadeja arrived in India to take part in the Chennai Super Kings Spring camp ahead of the IPL franchise shared a Pushpa theme video of Jadeja, where he is seen doing the famous Pushpa mannerism.
This isn’t the end of the story either. Right from the day, the first part started to trend on OTT Dee, Pushpa mannerisms and musical bits have been a raging sensation on internet.
We have seen several players, including world icons like Virat Kohli, doing the Pushpa beard mannerism. Other international stars like David Warner have been given dancing for Pushpa songs in stadiums.
We have seen certain Telugu films that have reached great height in recent years, and this includes Baahubali, Kalki, RRR and others but not one of them was able to generate social media activity like Pushpa 1 and 2.
Perhaps it could be argued that it is nearly impossible for anyone from Indian cinema, including Allu Arjun and Sukumar themselves to create something like Pushpa ever again. Literally every aspect of the film, right from the theatrical antics, songs, dance moves and other stuff are insanely popular.
We have to wait and see if any other commercial film in the future will be able to generate such a wide reach and attraction like Pushpa.
