Will this film will ever be nominated for Oscars?

J.K Bharavi’s Adi Shankara may not have reaped gold at the box-office, but it has definitely impress many in the industry, including the likes of Dasari Narayana Rao. The films has impressed many more in the industry, and this has helped the the film earn critical acclaim.

After Dasari, now Sai Kumar, who played an important role in the film, says he would like to see the film get nominated for Oscars. He says the film truly deserves the honour as it brings forth our rich culture and mythology that people in the West need to know.

The film comes from the man, who scripted films such as Annamayya and Pandurangadu. The question is whether this film will ever be nominated for Oscars? If yes, then on what criteria will it get nominated.
