Yash’s upcoming film Toxic is back in the spotlight. Rumours of a delay in filming have been dismissed by an insider, who confirmed that the project is progressing smoothly and everything is going as planned.
The insider revealed that Toxic features an “extensive star cast” and multiple looks for Yash. The film is now in its final stage of shooting, with dubbing work already underway. Several leaked pictures of Yash’s new look have also gone viral online.
Earlier, reports claimed that Yash was unhappy with director Geetu Mohandas and that multiple reshoots were causing delays. Some even alleged that the film’s budget had ballooned to nearly Rs. 600 crores, sparking concern among fans.
While the recent clarification eased worries, some netizens believe the film’s PR team is doing damage control. The production team’s secrecy has also left many fans restless, eager for official updates or promotional content.
The makers initially planned to release the film in March next year, but a delay now seems likely. Fans online have also speculated the same, pointing out that no teaser or poster has been shared yet.
Despite the uncertainty, expectations are sky-high. Some fans predict Toxic will break box office records, while others question whether the content will justify the massive buzz it has generated.
Planned as a global release, Toxic is expected to perform well in every language market. But the real challenge for Yash and his team will be surpassing the monumental success of KGF Chapter 2.
