Real Or Rented: What’s KGF Hero Verdict?

Yash in Toxic promotional look

Generally, when an iconic blockbuster is delivered at the ticket counters, the hero and director are lauded by the film markets and the audience. A similar observation is being made in the case of Kannada hero Yash.

However, the point of discussion here is primarily regarding the kind of fame and attention that he is gaining from the epic KGF success.

Despite the tremendous success of the both parts of the KGF franchise, there is still doubt on whether Yash is actually in a position to capitalise on the KGF mania.

To make matters worse, Yash has created a catastrophic situation where he wasted nearly 4 years after the release of KGF 2 in the form of Toxic. The extreme delay in the finalisation of the project in the first place, and the delay in production have resulted in this mass gap.

We are now at a point where we are not quite sure if Yash really is still a hot property in the market with all the KGF attention. Or whether this is all rented from the KGF universe that was built and executed by Prashanth Neel.

The potential box office outcome of Toxic will decide the real pull that Yash might’ve garnered through KGF.

Beyond the conventional Kannada markets, the recent much discussion happening about this film elsewhere, and this can change only when there is some rock solid content coming out in the days to follow.
