Love and caste. This theme has been widely explored in Indian cinema but we rarely see effective films based on this concept in Telugu cinema of late. The upcoming film Dhandoraa seems to be one such thought-provoking and effective film that is set against the concept of caste-discrimination. The “First Beat” of the film was unveiled today by the makers.
With the release of “First Beat of Dhandoraa,” the film’s core themes of love and caste-based conflict take shape. The video showcases an emotionally charged narrative, where love is put to the test by societal constraints. Visually gripping and emotionally intense, the concept video hints at a film that goes beyond conventional storytelling to address real-life struggles.
From the makers of Colour Photo and Bedurulanka 2012, Dhandoraa appears to explore the deep-rooted challenges individuals face when confronting traditional norms. The video serves as an introduction to a film that aims to engage and provoke thought.
Helmed by director Muralikanth, Dhandoraa features Sivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, Anusha, and others in main roles. Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni is bankrolling the project under Loukya Entertainments.
