Pradeep Ranganathan is coming up with Dude, a coming-of-age entertainer produced by the renowned Mythri Movie Makers. Marking the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran, the film’s trailer dropped earlier today and quickly caught fire across social media platforms, piquing curiosity without giving much away.
Speaking at the trailer launch event, producer Mythri Ravi emphasized the team’s intentional choice to keep major plot details under wraps. “There’s so much more in this film than what we showed in the trailer. It’s a layered story with unexpected turns, and we want the audience to discover it firsthand in theatres. It’s youthful, yes, but it has a heartbeat that speaks to all age groups.”
Having already previewed the final cut, Ravi expressed full confidence in the film’s impact. “Watching it with full sound in Chennai was an unforgettable experience. I believe this is a film that will connect instantly with audiences across languages.”
Pradeep noted that Dude is one of his most personal and emotionally complex projects to date. “I’ve always admired the way Mythri supports unique scripts. With this film, what looks like a fun entertainer on the surface actually holds a lot of heart underneath.
