Vishnu Vishal who got a good reception in Telugu with his last film, FIR is coming up with Matti Kusthi releasing on December 2nd. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is the co-producer of the film like FIR. Vishnu Vishal in an interview revealed how Ravi Teja came into the project.
“Swetha who works for Ravi Teja is Jwala’s friend. I met him through her. I showed him FIR trailer and he instantly liked it. He offered to present it in Telugu when I told him I am planning to release in Telugu,” Vishnu Vishal revealed.
“When I told him the story of Matti Kusthi, he said it will be a blockbuster and wanted to act in it. But I told him how I wanted to do it so much and he came on board as a producer. He never asked me anything about the budget and gave me a free hand,” he added.
“Matti Kusthi is not just a sports drama. It has a family drama between a husband and wife ridden by egos. I play a Kabaddi player who plays Kusthi. It is a very interesting film and Telugu audience will like it for sure,” Vishnu Vishal told.
