800, the biopic of renowned Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan is gearing up for its theatrical release in October. The film is directed by MS Sripathi and produced by Movie Train.

The latest news pertaining to this film is that senior Tollywood producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad has bought all India theatrical rights of the film.
Krishna Prasad has acquired the all-language Indian theatrical rights of 800 for a hefty price. The film is set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English languages. The release date will be announced soon.
800 has Slumdog Millionaire fame Madhur Mittal in the role of Muralidharan while Mahima Nambiar plays his wife. The film is set for a wide release this October and the trailer will be out next month.
