
Originally, Vijay Deverakonda’s ongoing film was supposed to release on the 28th of March. But due to logistical delays, the release got postponed momentarily.
Coming to the topic now, the latest unofficial communication from the team is that the film is heading for theatrical release on May 30, this year. This essentially means that the film is getting postponed by roughly 2 months.

The inside talk is that the shooting is indeed on pace for summer theatrical release. The entire shooting is likely to be completed by the end of February and the post production is going on simultaneously.
The unaided version of the first half is ready, and it has enough footage to lock the final copy. Once the editing is done, first will be locked and loaded. Shooting for the climax portion is now, and this is also expected to be completed at a quick pace.

The decision to move from the Ugadi weekend to a non-holiday May 30 weekend is a bit tricky about that’s how things are turning out.
While the primary understanding is that the film is shaping up well and could well be the comeback film of Vijay, there is the imminent need to kickstart the promotional campaign as people are not even accustomed to the title of the film.

The month of May has only one notable release in the form of HIT 3 and that’s about it. This leaves just about enough vacuum for Vijay to work his way at the box office as he is in umpteen need of a commercial success.
