After surprising audiences with many variations in his performances across various genres, Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen is embarking on another exciting project. He is all set to work with Jathi Ratnalu director Anudeep KV for a one-of-a-kind family entertainer titled Funky, which was officially launched this morning in Hyderabad.
Adding more credibility to this combination are its producers S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The banners, known for their uncompromising production values, have delivered a slew of hits in the recent past – including MAD, Lucky Baskhar and Tillu Square.

The title poster of Funky hints that the film will be a perfect ‘family entertainer’ with ample doses of fun, laughter and elements to please crowds of all age groups. Both Anudeep and Vishwak have a unique set of strengths as a filmmaker and an actor and the combination is expected to bring the best out of both.
The technical team comprises many heavyweights – including national award-winning editor Navin Nooli, MAD, Tillu Square fame music sensation Bheems Ceciroleo. Suresh Sarangam is the cinematographer. Funky’s regular shoot will begin in January 2025 post Sankranti.
